Serial Number & Rating Plates
04 January 2016
GSM Graphic Arts offers serial number and rating plates in a range of materials and finished to meet your particular requirements, suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
The processes we use to create our Serial Number and Rating Plates have been through extensive testing to ensure that they are UV stable for a minimum of 5 years, essential for warning labels and safety signs to ensure that they do not fade.
Our high definition digital printing is particularly suitable for Serial and Rating plates with sequential numbering and unique id. Digital printing can be used for samples as well as low to medium volume production runs. This enables you to ensure that the final design meets your requirements without incurring set up costs.
We can produce Serial Number and Rating plates using our traditional anodising process in which the anodic dyes are sealed within the surface of the aluminium producing a hard wearing, scuff resistant finish.
Etched stainless steel offers a durable option for applications where the nameplates are subjected to harsh environments. This includes the Oil and Gas industry where they are subjected to extreme marine conditions and also the Catering and Food Processing industry where equipment can be jet washed with caustic soda meaning that only an etched graphic will withstand the environment.
GSM can also supply Serial Number & Rating Plates on a roll, an economical way to produce labels which are used in low hazard environments. These labels can be supplied printed with just logo details, or even as blanks, to enable the unique details to be thermally transfer printed in house.
