Environment Agency awards two contracts to A-Plant July 1st 2009 Non-operated equipment rental company, A-Plant, has been awarded two prestigious four-year framework agreements with the Environment Agency, covering both the hire of tools and equipment and the maintenance and servicing of the Agency's existing fleet of equipment.
A-Plant is one of the three suppliers on the hire framework and has been awarded a single supplier agreement for the management, maintenance and servicing of the entire fleet of powered hand tools and powered work equipment at the Environment Agency.
To establish the procedures APlant is carrying out three pilot projects, examining all equipment and submitting a report detailing the age and condition of the equipment and proposals on whether it should be repaired or replaced. This process will then be rolled out to all eight regions to produce a national report for the Environment Agency. More articles from A Plant: |
