Boiler efficiency and flexibility
March 1st 2007 Made from 100% recyclable materials, the latest Econoflame industrial and commercial boilers from Stokvis Energy Systems exceed Part L Building Regulation requirements, and many are included on the Enhanced Capital allowance scheme. The range includes the R300 and R500 gas-fired boilers which come in 14 models, with outputs from 62 to 274kW. These floorstanding condensing units offer high efficiencies, seamless output modulation and low NOx emissions. They both have the Stokvis design of premix, watercooled bi-metal burner. Compact and with a small footprint, the R300 and R500 are said to be especially useful for multi-boiler applications where a number of units are arranged in sequence. They have integral primary pump and are BMS compatible. The boilers' bi-metallic burner tubes are connected in series with multiple pass heat exchangers.
