Alfa Laval has introduced its new FrontLine 15 sanitary heat exchanger developed specifically for heat transfer duties in the liquid food and beverage markets. The new unit has been sized to provide 70% more capacity that existing sanitary PHEs.

With its enhanced capacity, the FrontLine can process up to 100,000litres of liquids per hour and still achieve 94% heat recovery efficiency, making it suitable for the new breed of giant food processing plants. Newly designed channel geometry works to promote gentle product treatment and enhances the efficiency of cleaning in place (CIP) systems while stainless steel frame and plates meet the most stringent hygienic standards.

The frame is precision machined to present the smoothest possible profile and least opportunity for dirt of accumulate. The ClipLine plates provide excellent pressing depth for smooth, even flow through channels and uniform performance across the whole heat transfer surface. Small ports ensure compatibility with process CIP systems.
