High efficiency boiler; low NOx burner
March 1st 2010 Vaillant offers a range of high
efficiency commercial boilers. Both
the ecoTEC 46 and ecoTEC65 are
SEDBUK 'A' rated appliances which
produce a heat output of up to
65kW. Each model features a fully
modulating Class 5 low NOx burner
and fan.
The ecoTEC 65 has a siphonic
condensate discharge, while the
ecoTEC 46 has a condensate trap.
Both have built-in, two-stage frost
protection, 8m head shunt pump
and a sensor to monitor system
pressure via diagnostics.
A flow sensor monitors the water
flow through the boiler, while there
is an air separator with auto air vent
and filter for bleeding the system and
the filtering of fine particles. Each
boiler has a stainless steel heat
exchanger and newly-developed
hydraulic connections and isolating
valves.
A number of flue lengths are
available to a maximum of 18m
horizontally or 21m vertically, each
with a 125mm flue. An optional
125mm stainless facade kit is also
available. Optional components
include low loss headers in four sizes
and a push-fit flue system with
