Hire solution
March 1st 2009

While the current financial climate may prevent projects from going ahead through lack of credit facilities, a long term hire agreement can offer a viable alternative.

A producer of mineral water, in Folkestone, commissioned Byworth Boilers to construct a self-contained boiler house, with 3000kg/h Yorkshireman2 three pass steam boiler. This has X-ID firetube, which increases heat transfer from the tubes by over 80%. Byworth believes the resulting efficiency to be typically 2 to 3% more than some similar new boilers and up to 25% more efficient than an old boiler. The boiler house is now installed at the factory on a long term hire agreement.
