Meeting the standard March 1st 2006 The Gas Appliance Directives, EN298 and EN12067-2 have been upgraded to provide additional safeguards intended to reduce the risk of explosion and other hazards due to faults occurring during or after a safety shutdown of a gas burner or when two consecutive faults occur.
Energy Technology and Control has spent the last three years designing and proving a new control that has many self-checking and failsafe features intended to satisfy the increased safety requirement of the upgraded standards, which are the European safety standards for electronic fuel:air ratio controls on gas-fired industrial burners.
The new control makes use of the latest technology to achieve lower prices, smaller size and more versatility. Safety will be enhanced and best practice achieved at a lower cost. More articles from Energy Technology & Control Ltd: |
