No easy task
March 1st 2005

Two of Byworth Boilers recent commissions have involved complex installation work. Its engineers, however, quickly assessed each situation and overcame the difficulties.

Pasta Solutions of Nottingham, for example, ordered an MX1000 boiler but when Byworth’s installation team inspected the factory, the only suitable site for the boiler was on a mezzanine. The floor had to be reinforced with concrete and a special support frame built to cope with the heavy boiler.

Plus, at the Initial Wear for Work factory in Bradford, Byworth successfully overcame the problem of a 4ft drop into a basement to install two MX1500 boilers.
