Boge commit to save energy May 1st 2005 Boge Compressors has introduced two new frequency controlled compressors and a new compressor controller.
The company says that installing a frequency controlled screw compressor can provide an effective tool in achieving reductions in compressed air related energy costs.
Its new SLF series has been introduced in 22 and 30kW versions, with a 37kW model expected by the end of 2005.
The machines work strictly in accordance with compressed air demand by producing the exact volume of air at the pressure required. Frequency control minimises idling time and evensout air demand fluctuations.
The SLF combines a directcoupled drive system with an integrated frequency invertor to achieve pressure control under variable output, thereby creating an energy saving solution.
Also new, Boge Trinity is an intuitive, multiple compressor controller that integrates digital and transducer technology. The device is a modern transducer-operated switch that can control up to three compressors. It is controlled via a processor that can be programmed easily via a clear, back-lit LCD. It automatically sets itself to optimise pressure cascading. Only maximum and minimum pressure need be entered into the controller. More articles from Boge Compressors Ltd: |
