Compressed air equipment and pipework from Thorite has been installed at Starbank Panel Products in Newton-le-Willows.

The company wanted to reduce potential hazards caused by trailing air hoses and this was achieved by installing overhead inner pipework circuits fed from the main compressed air supply. Having improved the flow of air, existing compressors were data-logged.

Starbank subsequently selected two HPC model ASD 57, 30kW air compressors and a condensate treatment system in the form of an appropriately sized water/oil separator. Thorite also supplied vertical air receiver and pipework to link the new compressors with other equipment.
