Denca Controls has developed, installed and comissioned a SCADA solution that enables compressor status to be monitored in the control room of Premier Power's gas-fired electricity generating station B in Northern Ireland.

The company was asked to develop a control terminal solution that would enable full remote viewing and control of three Atlas Copco air compressors used for all instrument air supplies.

Denca's solution embraced Rockwell Automation's RS View SCADA software interfaced to an Allen Bradley SLC PLC DH+ network via Modbus and Canbus communications to each of three field-mounted
