Power within the hour May 1st 2007 Powercall UK has sealed a deal
with facilities management and
building services company, Inviron,
following an agreement between
Inviron and international
telecommunications company,
Global Crossing.
Now responsible for the facilities
management of all Global
Crossing's UK data transmission
network sites, Inviron has
appointed Powercall UK to provide
its emergency callout generator
service to 131 sites across the UK.
The initial 12-month contract
ensures that, in the event of a
power cut, all sites will have
standby power provided by
Powercall's nationwide generator
network. The network is serviced
by a 24/7 control room, which
despatches a generator from a
local depot with a target time of
less than one hour and a
guaranteed commitment to a
maximum of three hours. More articles from Powercall UK 1: |
