Birch's Melton Ross Quarry is able
to operate during powercuts.
Scorpion provided a turnkey
package that includes generator,
UPS, electrical installation, testing,
security and commissioning.
The 7kVA UPS system is
supported by a 77kVA continuously
rated diesel generator which has
auto mains failure, water jacket
heater,lightning/surge suppression,
fire shutdown and the facility to
self-test each week.
The DP77 generator is designed
to ensure long-term protection of
critical and sensitive equipment
