Air cooler uses natural refrigerants January 1st 2011 Alfa Laval's Alfa Igloo is an insulated
air cooler designed to provide
cooling or freezing capabilities in
buildings such as
distribution centres,
using natural
refrigerants such as
ammonia, CO2 or
brine.
With an air volume of up
to 110,000m3/h in the standard range
(larger capacities on request), Alfa
Igloo can be mounted directly within
the area to be cooled or placed
externally along with the associated
refrigerant piping and connections,
in which case cold air is
distributed around
the cold room via
ducting.
The unit is
available with 2 - 6
fans, depending on
the cooling required and the room
volume. It is capable of evaporating
