Air handling units join high efficiency range
May 1st 2008

Dravo, one of the UK's oldest heating manufacturers and now a division of Johnson & Starley, has added a range of air handling units to its range of high efficiency condensing AM Plus gas fired unit heaters and PCH heating modules.

PCH heating modules range from 10 to 197kW heat output.

They are inserted into air handling units and are already used by companies and organisations such as Vodophone Warehouse Newark, Job Centre Plus, Ilford and Debenhams at Golden Square Shopping Centre, Warrington.

The warm air heaters operate to 105% nett efficiency; NOx levels are 35pp or less and no emissions of CO are produced.

Fully modulating gas pre–mix burners are fitted to achieve this high efficiency, which also ensure the minimum amount heat is provided to satisfy the precise heat requirement.

Dravo says fully modulating premix burner technology gives a 30% energy saving over conventional heating models, enabling companies to reduce their heating carbon footprint.
