Choc full of low carbon HVAC solutions
May 1st 2009

Owned by Cadbury's, Project Harry is a 350,000ft2 building that combines warehousing and office space. To provide the required combination of cooling and heating for the various areas,Winvic Construction (builders for the project) turned to Jet Environmental.

Jet already had experience in working for Cadbury's, following the installation of a similar low carbon HVAC solution at the company's sister warehouse, Project Tom. Jet Environmental's air induction technology is a proven, low carbon option, that is suited to sheds and other large industrial space applications. It features a series of self-balanced jet nozzles to direct warm or cool air into the space from roof level. These nozzles are connected via ductwork to an air handling unit and selected heating/cooling source.

Within Project Harry, chilled and ambient chambers with 43,332 pallet spaces are serviced by Jet's nozzle systems, which are supported by banks of chillers and AHUs controlled by a sophisticated building management system.
