Energy efficient
January 1st 2010

For use in comfort and process cooling applications, Daikin Europe's new air cooled chillers are designed to exceed HVAC industry standards for operating efficiency levels.

The EWAD-C series uses R-134a refrigerant and comes in capacities from 680 to 1800kW for operating in ambient temperatures from -18 to 52°C. Suitable for all climates, the chillers have high efficiency fans, available in three sound levels.

A single screw compressor with asymmetric loading system returns maximum efficiency values in both partial and full load conditions and ensures low running costs.

Standard, high and premium efficiency versions are offered, the premium version achieving EERs up to 3.70 and ESEERs up to 4.63.
