Heat recovery
November 1st 2007 AmbiRad Group has signed an agreement with Klingenburg of Germany, for UK-wide distribution of energy saving plate heat exchangers and thermal wheels. The heat recovery equipment will be marketed through Reznor UK The company's focus on driving up the energy efficiency of its products has prompted the move to bring the complementary Klingenburg range to the UK. Recent innovations provide counterflow plate heat exchangers with heat recovery efficiencies of up to 85% for standard heating and ventilation applications. When applied to fresh air input units the high efficiency heat recovery can eliminate the need for additional low pressure hot water or electric heating coils, reducing running, capital and installation costs. Klingenburg estimates that use of its products has already reduced annual CO2 emissions by about 90m tons in Germany, equivalent to 30 000 000mWh energy saving. More articles from Ambirad Ltd: |
