High air quality September 1st 2007 High quality air is ensured at
Stannah Stairlifts' Andover factory
following installation of a Nordair-
Niche variable air volume heating
and ventilation system.
When Stannah refurbished the
premises it had several key criteria
for the heating system; it was to be
as economic and fuel efficient as
possible and it should be capable
of controlling air quality by removing
smoke and welding mist produced
in manufacturing.
The Nordair-Niche heating
system comprises two MUA300
variable air volume gas-fired warm
air heaters positioned externally.
They provide heated and fresh air,
which is ducted into the building.
They also have an extract function
that can operate at a rate of 32m/s.
The system is controlled by a Trend
automated control system, which
constantly monitors internal
conditions and varies the volume of
input and extract air according to air
quality and temperature. More articles from Nordair Niche: |
