Shrink company carbon footprint and your tax
March 1st 2009

Sustainable Energy Ireland, the government's green advisory body, has approved VDA's Micromaster technology as part of the Accelerated Capital Allowance (ACA) scheme.

ACA is a tax incentive programme introduced by the government in the Finance Act 2008, to encourage companies to buy energy-efficient equipment. Companies in Ireland can claim the ACA if they are buying eligible equipment listed on the ACA specified list.VDA has been approved as a vendor on this list thanks to Micromaster's Energy saving features.

Micromaster offers businesses a way to intelligently control the energy use of each room on its premises.

Linking into a central computer for ease of management,VDA allows services such as heating, air conditioning and lighting to be centrally controlled based on pre set requirements. The technology also allows complete monitoring of communal spaces offices with its Econometer so businesses can see where they use the most energy and where savings can be made.
