Savings in store May 1st 2010 Brammer UK has completed a major
project to reduce carbon emissions
and energy costs at its automated NDC
in Wolverhampton. The £17,000
capital investment has seen the
installation of new energy-efficient
Virolux-HLF high bay lighting
throughout the warehouse.
The product is said to have no
warm-up time, with increased lamp
life and reduced maintenance costs.
Occupancy sensors ensure lights are
not left on unnecessarily. The system,
which also harvests daylight and has
specially engineered reflectors to
maximise lighting levels, is set to save
close to £18,000 in energy costs in
the first year alone, with similar yearon-
year savings set to follow. More articles from Brammer UK Ltd: |
