QUALITY CHECK November 1st 2004 Fluke has launched a series of three-phase handheld power quality analysers with features that enable problems to be accessed faster and in greater detail.
Said to be the first instruments of their type to meet CAT IV 600V safety standard, they can measure all phases and neutral on virtually every connection in a low voltage application.
The Fluke 433 and 434 are troubleshooting tools for use where power quality is critical. They measure all power system parameters in accordance with the latest IEC61000-4-30 standard, such as true-rms voltage and current, frequency, power, power consumption, unbalance and flicker, and can track (inter-) harmonics. They automatically capture events such as transients (as fast as 5msec and as high as 6kV). More articles from Fluke (U.K.) Ltd: |
