Quality idea September 1st 2005 LEM has introduced the Topas 2000 power quality analyser for problem solving in both industrial and utility power networks.
The Topas 2000 measures, stores and analyses relevant parameters in 3-phase alternating currents, providing support with fault detection and supply quality analysis. This allows disturbances and their causes, as well as interfering mains pollution, to be detected and analysed. The unit’s 10Ms/s sampling rate for transients offers high signal resolution in troubleshooting applications.
The unit’s large data memory provides effective long term recording that can be used as the basis for detailed evaluation and analysis to assess disturbances and the mains voltage quality. More articles from LEM UK Ltd: |
