Refrigerant dryer range
September 1st 2004

A range of compact and economical refrigerant compressed air dryers from Boge Compressors is said to prevent condensation and consequent corrosion in compressed air pipework and delivers quality compressed air with a typical pressure dewpoint of 3C.

The low pressure differential across the dryer helps to cut running costs by making excessive air compression unnecessary, thereby reducing electricity bills.

The DB range is said to use up to 70% less coolant than traditional types of refrigerant dryer and uses ozone-friendly R134a.

Designed to operate between 7 and 16bar, dryers have flow capacities from 0.167 to 27.5m3/min within a range that comprises 25 models. Units are configured to operate in 25C ambients with an air inlet temperature of 35C, but can easily handle temperatures to 50C.
