Claude Lyons has increased the functionality of its PowerSave energy management products by adding facilities that allow facilities managers to monitor performance remotely, giving greater control over carbon emissions.

The new remote monitoring capability allows system status monitoring without the need for additional meters or direct access to the equipment. Settings can be adjusted remotely as well, providing facilities managers with complete control over the equipment from offas well as on-site.

The new facility also enables complete integration of PowerSave equipment with existing systems, giving facilities managers control via their existing network or BMS system, or remotely via telephone, ISP or GPRS modem; it even offers tailored text messaging.
