UK debut
November 1st 2007 Switch2 Energy Solutions and Landis & Gyr used the Energy Event 07 to launch the Ultraheat 50 to the UK market. The UH50 is specifically designed for varied applications of heat measurement and meets the requirements of district heating, local heating and building installation. A breakthrough in the UH50 is the development of DuraSurface. Smaller meters are fitted with a special internal profile, which ensures that interfering reflections in the measurement channel are filtered out, making the meters more resistant to dirt deposits. This is said to ensure measuring accuracy and maintenance-free operation for many years. Precise and robust, then units have multiple communication (2 slots) and straightforward twobutton operation.
