Daikin Europe has broadened the scope of its R-410A RZQ Sky Air Super Inverter range with the introduction of B Series 3-phase units.

Available in sizes 100, 125 and 140 (10 to 14kW cooling and 11.25 to 16kW heating), the 3-phase RZQ is suited to large commercial air conditioning installations.

Ambient temperature operating range is -15 to 50°CDB (cooling) and -20 to 15.5°CWM (heating). Based around the company’s reluctance DC compressor motor technology, the RZQ delivers high energy efficiency, particularly in the mid to low settings, minimising annual electricity consumption and costs. Use of neodymium magnets in the motor maximises torque and enables higher power output to electrical input ratios to be generated.

Operating sound is 49 to 52dBA. A night time function enables these figures to be reduced by 4 to 5dBA.
