EFFICIENT AND ECONOMICAL March 1st 2004 Beko Technologies has launched a new refrigeration dryer that promises efficient and more economic drying of compressed air.
Flow resistance during the operation of refrigerant dryers is a major cost-contributing factor. With the new Drypoint R units, the flow resistance is extremely low due to the very smooth surfaces of the stainless steel plate heat exchanger.
They also have the advantage of being self-cleaning. The heat exchanger core is made of high grade steel so that corrosion and oxidation may not occur.
The generously dimensioned compressed-air connections simplify the installation. Pipe constrictions in the compressed-air line have been avoided. The benefits are: no additional flow resistance; reduced loss of pressure; and lower operating costs.
The Drypoint R is fitted with an energy-saving automat, ESA. This acquires all parameters relevant to operation and controls the dryer all electronically, depending on load. The ESA enables flexible control of the dewpoint and saves energy during partial load by disconnecting the refrigerant compressor.
The range offers flow rates from 12 to 1050m3/h. More articles from Beko Technologies Ltd: |
