ENER-G has installed and commissioned a tri-generation packaged energy system for the DVLA in Swansea. Specified as part of the Government’s commitment to ‘green’ energy, it reduces dramatically both energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

The containerised tri-generation system features 1MW CHP unit and 700kW absorption chiller. Operating 7 days/week, it provides efficient electricity, medium temperature hot water and chilled water. The ENERNew G 1150 natural gas CHP unit recovers heat from the engine cooling circuit and from the exhaust gases, enabling it to provide 1400kW of heat at full output. It also delivers 1150kW of electrical power at 100% output and is configured to match site demand.
