Gestra Steam Solutions has added to its Spector range of BUS-based boiler control and monitoring solutions a versatile infrared touchscreen mini PLC that incorporates a range of service optimised functions.

Designed to provide plant engineers with real-time performance and status information, the PLC uses CANopen BUS technology to receive data from Spector-optimised probes detecting such things as boiler water level, TDS content and burner performance.

Data is displayed in a number of user-configurable modes and the fully programmable five controller PLC is equipped for a variable number of analogue and digital I/Os that can be expanded with additional I/O modules.
