Restaurant linen rental company, London Linen Supply, has installed a Yorkshireman YSX 8000 boiler from Byworth Boilers to improve the efficiency of its laundry. Energy saving features such as a Hamworthy low Nox Envirojet dual fuel burner capable of burning natural gas with a 35sec oil back-up were fitted, and front and rear smoke boxes were insulated with ceramic fibre to minimise heat loss. In addition, to meet HSE PM5 requirements for unattended operation, self-monitoring controls were added, along with automatic bottom blowdown and a TDS monitoring system. Once in place, pipework was insulated As well as savings on power and fuel, Byworth Boilers customers can take advantage of the governments ECA initiative.
