A new weatherproof housing is available for Bitzer UK’s Gemini condensing unit. It will extend the application range of the unit, which has two Octagon compressors, and make it suitable for installation outside buildings without risk of damage from the elements.

There are seven Gemini models for both standard and high ambient temperature applications. The twin compressor solution offers energy efficient operation at both full and part load with up to four capacity stages. Units are designed for use with R404A, R507A, R134a and R22, have minimal vibration and are quiet in operation.

The twin Octagon compressor arrangement promotes close capacity control and affords easier maintenance and repair should electrical or mechanical failure occur.
