Pipework system expanded
January 1st 2004

Legris is extending the range of its Transair rapid fit compressed air pipework system with the introduction of two new sizes designed especially for ring mains.

Flow rates for the 76 and 100mm dia pipes are said to be more than 50% greater than for the equivalent sizes in galvanised steel.

Even at these larger sizes, installation of the corrosion resistant Transair pipework remains a rapid process. Each section of pipe is cut, joined by a cartridge and clamped securely into place in a process that takes just a few minutes.

Reducers take drops to smaller diameter transair instant fit pipework, making the system suitable from compressor through to sub ring mains or straight to point of use.

The new pipework is available in both aluminium and stainless steel and is suitable for compressed air, vacuum (98.7%) and inert gas.
