Providing warmth in footwear warehouse

Two Powrmaster air rotation heaters from Powrmatic have solved the total heating demands of a new warehouse for fashion footwear retailer Schuh.

The storage facility already had two Powrmaster TE 21 heaters and, when the warehouse was expanded, the company ordered two more.

Andy Carnochan, mechanical contracts engineers with Synchro Projects who designed and installed the system, said “In addition to the excellent energy efficiency of the Powrmaster, the units offered, very quick and cost effective installation, being installed in just a day and a half. The service from Powrmatic has also been first class throughout the project.” In many applications, just one or two Powrmaster units can replace a large number of traditional cabinet, unit or radiant heaters – cutting down on installation time and costs and greatly reducing maintenance and spares demands.
