The Cadbury Trebor Bassett site in Sheffield has introduced a Boge MCS Professional Plus energy management system to its compressor house. Following optimisation, results have shown that annual generation costs for compressed air have reduced by 10% and overall system efficiency has improved by 13.67% The non-intrusive, predictive system sends signals to and from compressor controllers and can predict and switch the compressor combinations that are being used.

This means the required volume of air, at optimum pressure, at each point in time is met in the most efficient manner.
