Wood waste May 1st 2008 Wood waste produced from
production, packaging and pallets
is a viable source of fuel for factory
or process heating. Clyde Valley
Stairs in Glasgow are stair
manufacturers. Chris Stockwell, MD
is responsible for the operation of a
20,000ft2 factory and wanted to
reduce heating and landfill costs. It
was decided to combine a
Talbott's automaticTMA 300kW
wood waste heater with an Untha
LR630 shredder. He is delighted
with the new setup. All Talbott
systems are approved appliances
under the clean air act and meet
EPA regulations, not only when
burning softwood and hardwood
but also whilst utilising such fuels
as MDF, MFC and chipboard. The
carbon trust has interest free loans
of up to £100,000, which can be
paid back over a maximum of four
years. Talbotts have a dedicated
funding co-ordinator who can help
assist with an application. More articles from Talbotts Biomass Energy Ltd: |
