Turning on the savings July 1st 2007 At last year's The Energy Event a
specifier for a hotel project in a
hard water area of the UK
approached Tapworks looking for
an answer to the problems
associated with limescale.
The ravages of limescale
build up in boilers,
radiators, pumps and
pipework can make a huge
impact on energy bills and
major maintenance costs.
Thanks to the
installation of a Tapworks
North Star commercial
water softener the newly
opened Mercure Holland
House Hotel & Spa in
Bristol banished the
problems of hard water before they
even began with the installation of
a Tapworks North Star commercial
water softener.
The softener specified has a
capacity to soften 52,600 litres of
water a day and a peak flow rate of
16.5 litres a second.
Tapworks will be at this year's
Energy Event to show how in
average 32 per cent saving on
running costs can be achieved by
installing a Tapworks unit in place
of existing softeners already
installed. |
