Live steam humidifier runs at high pressures March 1st 2006 Alive steam humidifier has been introduced by JS Humidifiers and includes high running pressure, output capacity that is said to be two to three time than of competitors' models, low installation costs and quiet, dry steam delivery.
The Armstrong live steam humidifier is capable of running at pressures to 4 bar, producing hotter, drier steam that other 2 bar systems. This high pressure gives it an output capacity of up to 1823kg/h from a single unit.
The company says that by running at higher pressures, the size of pipework and pressure reducing valve required to install the humidifier is smaller, making it a cheaper system to set up.
The Armstrong incorporates features to ensure that all condensation is eliminated from the steam before being released into the duct.
When steam is fed into the humidifier, it enters a separation chamber that incorporates baffles to slow and reverse the direction of steam to remove condensation. The control valve is included within this separation chamber to maintain its temperature and avoid condensation build-up through the valve. More articles from J S Humidifiers plc: |
