November 1st 2006 Specialist in advanced belting solutions, the Wire Belt Company, has introduced the TC-327, a new conveyor belt developed specifically for the tortilla industry. Manufactured to cool tortillas, Wire Belt guarantees a two-year belt life for TC-327. TC-327's stainless seel, open surface construction will allow tortillas to cool completely by permitting excellent convection and air flow into the cooling process. Wire Belt says that the belt will not stretch, sag or create a fire hazard in high temperature operations. It is engineered with C-CureEdge to enhance safety in the production environment. C-CureEdge's closed loop ends reduce the risk of accidents caused by sharp open ends. The TC-327 package includes Wire Belt's EZSplice system, complete with EZSplice pliers kit and sprockets.
