Mosca is supplying fully automated strapping machines to arvato entertainment services to ensure the flexible, efficient, strapping of boxes of CDs and DVDs for distribution to retail and other outlets.

arvato distributes large volumes of entertainment media to national and global corporations in a variety of box sizes and required an appropriate strapping solution to meet its needs.

The Mosca RO-TRP-4 is a fully automated machine capable of applying straps at speeds of up to 30 boxes per minute. Intuitive user controls make it easy for arvato to change between box sizes.

To further enhance efficiency, the machines have been supplied with a Mosca manufactures indexer and centraliser unit, which ensures that the product is delivered for strapping at the correct pace and in the right position.

Mosca was chosen following recommendations from other European distribution operations within the Bertelsmann group, who also use its machinery.
