Swiift loading September 1st 2008 A new conveyor system has
speeded up storage processes at
Barber of Sheffield, supplier of
steel products ranging from tattoo
and piercing equipment to
veterinary needles. The mezzanine
conveyor, installed by Rusmail,
replaces a system which relied on
operatives loading the mezzanine
using the stairway.
Tom Royston, warehouse
manager, says "The business was
expanding and it was becoming
increasingly time consuming to
load in this way, not to mention a
health and safety issue handling
the larger, heavier boxes of product
up a flight of stairs. The Rusmail
solution makes everything quicker
and safer, allowing us to operate at
capacity. Also thanks to the
installation team communicating
with us at every stage, it made for
a smooth transition to becoming
automated." More articles from Rusmail Conveyor Systems Ltd: |
