In-situ refurb

When London’s Harmworth Quays Printing wanted a cost effective way of upgrading telescopic conveyors that feed dispatch doors, Caljan used its experience of handling systems for loading and unloading cargo to come up with a solution.

It recommended a refurbishment package to replace all mechanical and electrical components, which also ensured machines complied with new health and safety requirements.

Refurbishment was carried out with the machines in-situ to ensure minimum disruption to procedures and Caljan ensured that the project was within budget guidelines.
