Mosca Direct’s installation for Bolton-based printer Newsquest includes a bespoke conveying system to suit the company’s production space.

Paul Barker, print manager, says “We wanted a high quality machine to bring our strapping capability up to speed, but space was at a premium. Mosca’s system took this into account without compromising the efficiency of the supply chain".

The installation comprises four lines, each with a conveyor, an underwrapper to protect bottom copies and an RO-TAI-5 inline cross-strapper. This uses Mosca’s airless, all-electric technology, rather than compressed air.
