Manrider belt conveyor makes operations easier September 1st 2007 The increase in overseas
goods arriving loose loaded in
high cubed 12.0m sea
containers is proving a problem for
many import companies with regard
to the manual unloading operation.
Newland Engineering's Newland
MTC135 Manrider Multi-Telescopic
Belt Conveyor is able to reach
goods at the highest level inside the
container. Positioned on the
platform the operator can extend,
raise and lower the telescopic
booms into the container by means
of the push button console on the
front of the telescopic boom.
The platform depth, width and
hand rail height can be
manufactured to suit individual
customer requirements. The
Newland MTC135 Manrider has a
telescopic extension of 13.5m and
comes in either one man or two
man carrying options, with a
platform lift-up mechanism.
This allows the operator to retrieve
goods from the floor of the
container without standing on the
platform and transfer them to the
belt with greater ease. More articles from Newland Engineering Co Ltd: |
