LAC Conveyors has introduced its first range of plastic modular conveyors. Designed to provide customers with a cost-effective alternative to mild steel and aluminium, the HMW polytheneconstructed systems are built from scratch to customer requirements.

The company says the conveyors can be built to order in almost half the time of their mild steel and aluminium counterparts.

The durable, yet flexible construction reduces maintenance requirements and plastic belts are easily removed for cleaning or maintenance without major downtime or need for special tools.

Constructed from 25mm plastic, the conveyor is chemically inert to ensure that it does not contaminate the product that it is handling.

A variety of options are available: belt levels, types, construction, belt coverings, conveyor length, and control panels and castors.
