Field Boxmore, maker of printed paper packaging, has installed two Weber 5200 series printer applicators on high speed packing lines at its Leicester factory.

The 5200s print variable information for outer cases onto blank labels in human readable and barcode formats, including name, item code, product description,and so on. Each system includes a high density, ondemand thermal-transfer printer that provides crisp text and in-spec barcodes at 300dpi.

The machines are integrated into the production line and linked to Field Boxmore’s management information system, enabling label data to be centrally controlled.
