Roller update
September 1st 2008 Best Conveyors has made
changes to its Power/Flex powered
roller conveyor which, it believes,
will provide greater durability and
reliability. The heavy duty control
housing is now mounted on a
welded shelf for rigidity, with a
plug-in, semi-armoured extension
cable connection for easy
maintenance or replacement.
Improvements to the cabinet
include an improved isolator
solution and improved earth
bonding. A PLR can be housed in
the control enclosure and can be
loaded easily or modified via
Eprom to meet exact requirements.
Power/Flex offers a high degree
of flexibility, with adjustable line
speed from 0 to 36m/min. The
continuous duty multiple drive is
achieved using a new generation
of DC motors. An AC motor option is
