Hart Door Systems’ Speedor highspeed door range has helped Aggregate Industries to overcome potentially damaging problems in a heat-sensitive process on its shrinkwrapping conveyor line.

The Speedor effectively acts as a wind break, allowing consistent burn-flow to the product being shrink-wrapped.

Paul Saunders, factory manager at Bradstone’s Baston factory, says We could not use a curtain-type installation as the bags are still hot when they leave the production line. Packaging would become damaged if anything came into contact with it so soon after shrinking.

We required a system that could operate quickly and effectively within limited space.
