High speed
September 1st 2008 Hörmann UK has supplied and
installed a high-speed door as part
of the loading bay and industrial
door specification for the new Zeus
Packaging warehouse in Corby.
The V6030SE has an opening
speed of up to 3m/sec and
Hörmann Soft Edge technology. It
is operated by induction loops with
a timed return which, along with
the rapid opening and closing
speeds, helps to prevent heat loss
and reduce energy costs.
The V6030SE was fitted behind
one of two level access doors at
the site. The other was installed
with a PVC strip curtain on the
exterior to further reduce energy
loss and prevent contamination
when handling food packaging.
Hörmann also supplied and
installed two complete loading bay
systems featuring 3750mm high
