Cargo canopy
September 1st 2008

CopriSystems has installed a canopy at London Heathrow's cargo terminal. Side wall mounted onto an existing warehouse, it is used to boost storage capability for Swissport Cargo Logistics Company, which handles imported and exported cargo that is held in a secure customsbonded building.

Internal space needed to be freed within the warehouse.

Energy efficient lighting has been installed which responds to a motion sensor and design modifications were made to accommodate an existing overhead structure.

Both ends of the canopy are secured by gate style doors. It measures 18.5m long by 9m wide, is 4.3m high, and sits on an existing car park area.
